(ACT) was founded in 1998. ACT members include industry leaders and emerging

ACT promotes the development of market-driven solutions over regulated
ones. Through education, advocacy and collaboration, ACT gives the IT
industry a powerful voice in shaping its future.

The American National Standards Institute
(ANSI) is a private, non-profit organization (501(c)3) and has served
in its capacity as administrator and coordinator of the United States
private sector voluntary standardization system for more than 80 years.
The Institute's mission is to enhance both the global competitiveness
of U.S. business and the U.S. quality of life.

Computer Security Institute (CSI) is the world's
leading membership organization specifically dedicated to serving and
training the information, computer and network security professional.
CSI sponsors conference and exhibitions, and publishes surveys and reports
on topics such as computer crime and an information security program assessment
tool.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers,
Inc. (IEEE) is a non-profit, technical professional association of more
than 377,000 individual members in 150 countries. The IEEE is a leading
authority in technical areas ranging from computer engineering, biomedical
technology and telecommunications, to electric power, aerospace and consumer
electronics, among others.

The International Organization for Standardization
(ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies from more
than 140 countries, one from each country. ISO is a non-governmental organization
established in 1947. The mission of ISO is to promote the development
of standardization and related activities.

Larta is an independent, nonprofit company that has assisted the growth
of hundreds of technology companies in Southern California. These companies
span the range of technologies in the Southland: telecommunications, biomedicine,
aerospace, new media, computer hardware and software, and electronic commerce.

The National Cyber Security Alliance is a cooperative effort between industry
and government organizations to foster awareness of cyber security through
educational outreach and public awareness. The Alliance has launched a campaign
and web site that helps educate Americans on the need for computer security
and encourage all computer users to protect their home and small business
systems. |

For years, the work of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA)
has brought together the leading companies of the software and information
industry, expanding market opportunities and forging the way toward a stronger
industry. SIIA is the only trade association with a global reach that provides
a credible, unifying voice for all businesses that provide the software
and information that underpin the digital economy. |

The Trusted Computing Platform Alliance, or TCPA, was formed by Compaq,
HP, IBM, Intel and Microsoft. All five companies have been individually
working on improving the trust available within the PC for years. An open
alliance was formed to create a new computing platform that will provide
improved trust and make security solutions for PCs easy to deploy, use and
manage. |
