Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) features report on I/O Software technology
NHK's television crew visited I/O Software's offices and spent the day shooting TV footage and conducting interviews. The crew was particularly interested in I/O Software's secu rity expertise, IOS' line of software products and our unique technology showroom. Many of our partners' devices will be shown in the report. The crew is currently working on a piece on "Security" in the United States and will also feature segments on airport security, container X-ray technology and other related topics.
The full report will be aired on Japan Broadcasting Corporation's (NHK) channel on April 5th, 2003.
The IOS technology showroom displays a comprehensive collection of biometrics, PKI and token hardware and has demo applications for virtually all devices currently available on the market. As a neutral resource, the showroom also displays technologies and devices that have not been integrated with I/O Software's products. The showroom is open to the public and the media. Our Technology Consulting and Engineering Groups provide comprehensive services and create value for our clients so they can move forward in deploying the tailored solutions their networks and security challenges demand.
- Solutions - In a effort to simplify browsing our website, we now provide direct access to relevant information tailored to answer the questions of specific groups such as device vendors, corporate IT managers, government clients or healthcare providers. Just select a given profile and learn more about key information and products.
- SecureTec AP - I/O Software's Authentication Platform enables and enhances flexible, modular, customized, and requirement driven authentication solutions while removing the complexity of directly incorporating authentication devices, authorization policies, or account management. SecureTec AP integrates I/O Software's account, device, authorization, and authentication tools into a highly flexible product that can be seamlessly integrated into virtually any application, and into any environment.
- Authentication Info - This support section provides a reference point and education center regarding a wide range of authentication and security related technologies. Topics include information on overall 'security concepts', authentication technologies such as biometrics, token and PKI, as well as a section on criteria to be considered when selecting one or more biometrics for deployment.
- Partner Section - I/O Software has developed partnerships with a multitude of technology providers, device vendors, PC OEMs, systems integrators, application developers, resellers, and distributors, and we continue to partner with established and visionary technology companies. We support our partners through various partner programs, technical training, technical support, and joint marketing activities. This section contains partnership information as well as a list of resellers and links to purchase IOS products.
- Document Section - I/O Software now provides a multitude of documents for free download, including our recommendation to the General Accounting Office (GAO) regarding a "registered traveler" system, white papers, feature lists, brochures, etc. These documents are designed to inform and support clients, users of our software products as well as the interested public.
I/O Software releases update to SecureSuite XS
I/O Software is releasing the 4.01 version of its SecureSuite XS software package to its partners and clients. SecureSuite XS brings a solid, modular, and flexible authentication platform to any Windows 2000 domain. SecureSuite XS Server is fully integrated with Windows Active Directory, and with its true multi-factor architecture, it offers seamless mix-and-match integration with a m ultitude of advanced authentication technologies, including biometrics (face, fingerprint, iris, signature, and voice), USB tokens, smart cards, contactless cards and combination devices.
The upgrade is minor but offers a number of new features and features specifically requested by our clients such as support for match-on-card fingerprint technology, improved handling of firewalls, masked Windows password support for SecureSession (Single sign-on), improved management of smart cards and token devices, extended support for user groups, etc.

I/O Software invites device manufacturers to exhibit their devices and applications in the IOS showroom
 I/O Software's technology showroom serves the purpose of informing the media, prospective customers and the general public about the latest authentication technologies. Visitors are invited to 'play' with more than one hundred devices and technologies, and experience that these technologies have migrated from the sphere of science fiction into real life applications and even mainstream information technology.
Since its creation approximately four months ago, we have clearly seen increasing traffic and interest in the showroom, and it has become a valuable tool in providing the public with industry resources and information. IOS is inviting all manufacturers and technology providers, whether they are IOS partners or not, to exhibit their products in the showroom and get valuable exposure. There is absolutely no charge for exhibiting and devices are returned upon request.
